Having problems with the loom and ecu etc as the engine came with the wrong ecu (Mot 2.8) so im not sure whether the loom is correct either. From the picture can someone point out which wires need to be cut and joined onto the existing Corsa loom and also whether there is a connection on this loom for a Lambda sensor or if ill need a new loom Thanks

Thanks mate, i did have a feeling that was the case. Theres a white tag on the loom with the letters FP on it. I know there was a Motronic ecu with the code FP also, I presume the letters on the loom and ecu match up etc.
Ive also been told that the plug next to the big rubber grommet is the one for the lambda sensor, trouble is that on the plug there are 3 wires (brown, blue/brown & white/black) and on the lambda there are 3 different colour wires (white, white & black) so i have no idea how that matches up. Any ideas?

Can anybody confirm if this is definately the loom for a later dizzyless engine and will not work with my 1990 dizzyed 20xe?
Also, what colours are the wires on the loom for the lambda..Lambda in manifold has 3 wires (white, white and black) but where ive been told to connect it too has (brown, white/black and brown/blue). With the engine being a 20xe i know that CATs wernt standard but were lambda sensors still used with these engines?
This really is the sticking point for me guys as it the engine, ecu, manifold and loom have all been mixed and matched so no idea what goes with what. Really apprecieate any help. Cheers

I will have a look at my ecu later on and i will tell you wat letters i find on it if i find an fp then it would suggest you have an ecu and loom for the dizzyless c20xe

Hey lads, question about the loom above...On the right hand side of the photo where you have the red relay, brown/red plug and the wire with the terminal on the end am i right in thinking that the relay
is the fuel pump relay & the wire with the terminal is the +ive to the battery? If im wrong let me no Also, what is that brown plug for, cant think where that would go Cheers. Mike

Nearly done I think, last couple of wiring questions. Firstly are these connected to the correct places
D : Dizzy
C : Amplifier on the coil
Also, now i know hat on the XE sump there is a wire which I presume is the oil level indicator. At a guess I would have thought this would plug into point A on the loom photo. The plugs dont fit though, do I have to cut and hard wire this or does the oil level indicator connect somewhere else?
Lastly, point B on the photo. Is this the single black switched live wire? If it is am i right in thinking that this has to be extended down into the footwell where it is wired to the black wire from the corsa loom plug?
Thanks for all your help
