rite, i need a new processor.. my board is 939 so i need a 939 chip obviously..
here are some choices.. i have about 100 to spend but might push that a little farther depending what i like. lol
i seen a AMD 64 4000 (1024 L2 Cache) for about £90
but i have also seen a
AMD 64 X2 4200 (512 L2 Cache) for £142
whats the X2 mean, something to do with dual processing or summin not 100% sure. but does anyone have one that could shead some light on them.

2 cores on one chip, basically 2 processors.

Should be.
Can you get x2 chips with 1024k level 2 cache though?
Would have to read reviews on them.

no they are 512 l2 cache on the x2 cpu.

get the AMD 4400 X" that has 1mb L" cache.
