I'm cheating
have my laptop next to my 360, the 360 is plugged into the laptop, which is sharing the wireless connection with it from my router

Or you can use an ethernet bridge to connect the network socket on the back of the Xbox up to your wireless network.

so i cant buy a netgear MIMO adapter? the trouble is i only get 24mbps in my room as it has 18inch thick stone walls, dont want to run a cable up the stairs, so is the micrsoft usb adapter the only choice?
