I am quite tempted to buy an LCD TV for my room seeing as they are rediculously cheap now, due to space issues I wish to wall mount it which is fine, but being an amateur I was wondering how do people hide the wirring etc?

As i will want to connect a dvd/sky/possibly hifi up would I be better off with a TV stand?

Kinda under the impression wall mounts are just for fashion mags etc

Pics of people set ups and any advice of any forums with info would be great.

Wall mounts are for people who have invented wireless power supplies, or people who have had thier houses decorated to suit... Though if you don't mind it you could run the cableing through some trunking and you could have the boxes in a cabnet somewhere I guess.

Mines Wall Mounted. Free's up so much space. There are a few wires but thats easily sorted, pic is a bit old, looks much tidier now. The bracket cost £60, and it tilts forward to allow easy access to the back of the tv for wire connection and stuff.

Taken on my phone, hence the quality.

You can either run the wires through a hole in the wall, or get a conduit (sp) for it. Wall mount will cost around £55 average off the net.

corsa5dr - the samsung 32" is immense mate

Cheers thats just what I wanted to see, not too keen on making holes in the wall incase I want to move my room around again or having loads of wires dangling.

My dad's is wall mounted but its in the living room mounted above an electric fire on the chimney flu (sp?) so the cables all go into there, and then back out on the right hand side in the recessed part where the equipment rack is. The rear speakers are also wall mounted, cables run down the wall cavity and under the floorboards. He's on holiday at the moment but ill get some pics off him when he's back
