I'm getting sick of being kicked out of Races before they've even started! How does it work for people setting up a race? Can they lock it off to only their friends list or is it free for anyone to join?
Im fed up of being in the lobby, choosing a car then waiting for the race to load to find its just a load of braindead northern monkeys talking about how stoned they are and I'm not in the race!!! 
There seems to be few races to join to! Is it because I'm on the free trial?

i'm sure it tells you in the lobby if its in the race or not, cant remember its been a while!

shouldn't matter whether you're on the free trial or not.
You can create races and then specify that it's for friends only so you may be joining those type of races.
At the race select screen you should also be able to see whether the race is in progress or whether they're in the lobby.

Most of the time I just use the 'join quick race' option but still get kicked out
