no they can't.
any team who has heart, desire and is well organised mixed with a decent degree of ability can pull of results that they maybe shouldn't.
maybe if the superstars of England with there 100k a week pay packets married their undoubted ability with a bit of Scottish heart you wouldn't be drawing with Macedonia.

I agree, we dont have the skill of some of the top teams, and we are never in a position to win anything....... YET. Who cares about skills, we beat them 1-0... il trade the skills for 3 points thanks very much.
We are a squad growing in confidence... the difference with the Scottish is that we are always the underdogs. Pressure is of us really when faced against bigger nations.... unlike the English who are EXPECTED to perform and should against lesser nations.

great result i think that was the first time in my life i was proud of the national team

wtf is with all the putting scotland down we;ve been improving every game under smith and have some real talent in the side. You just grumpy that england are not playing as well as they should? (aimed at Ollie & Steve) and no matter how lucky you say we are, it will still go down as 1-0
