Do these just stop working when there knacked or do they play up just before they die.

The reson is, is when i hit high revs, the car cuts out some times and when i disconect the fuel pump and reconnect, it works 80% of the time.

also when on the motorway at high revs in 5th the car holds back. as in it dont get enough petrol, ( thats why i had the injector thread up )

ha, well pointed out stu lol.

fuel filter was changed about 800 miles ago.

so would not think it was that.

mainly what i wann know is if they just stop working when broke or they gradually give up?

my engine cuts off every jurney! the engine managment light comes up then...the engine cuts off...it says in the haines manual that it could be the fuel filter...its £7.50 plus vat for a new one...which is not too bad..

It's deffo the fuel pump, thanks tho mate. it's given up the ghost now. dont start at all.
