went to halfords earlier to buy some new mags gold class shampoop with the possibility of some megs gold class polish and ended up spending waaaay more than intended! they DONT sell shampoop by itself so i had to buy a double pack with wax and applicator pad (£15!!)! then realised my chamois was getting a tad on the grotty and aged side so also picked up a megs water magnet drying towel. then also bought a new magic tree.
got home, washed the corsa for the first time in a few weeks (longest its been without a wash!!) and dried it with my SUPA DOOPA new towel. i couldnt believe how much easier it was than a chamois and looked way better. defo recommend one to anyone who enjoys washing their car!
also, some little fucker stole my bee-sting so had to go and get another one of those!
sorry about the essay, havent posted for a while

Towels are meant to be better than chammys, according to some detailing guides I have read. £15 for some wax and shamppo isn't that much money either. The stuff works well and lasts for a decent ammount of time.

are you talking about them terry cloth towels yes?
£15 for wax and shampoo isnt bad, think shampoo on its own is £6 and wax £13!
bloody good stuff though

Na, they are specific drying towels to replace chammys as chammys apparently cause swirls in the paint...
The mits are better than sponges too if you are worried about swirls

I agree with Kano, just moves the water around rather than drying it.

you shouldnt get any swirls if the car has been cleaned and rinsed.
its more of just a better way of drying, bit like bounty kitchen towels
