Right, the info i need is probs scattered all over the site, and i have tried searching, but anyways....
I was going for a x14xe, but decided to go the whole hog & get the c20xe in there
I have a 93 corsa 1.2 8v, was bought to be a runaround, but now im getting bored & want to play.
The car will mainly be used as a daily driver, but will make a few track sessions.
I have bought the following so far...
15" cav casero rims, vec 288mm brakes, spax coilovers.
Intend on fitting front gsi arb, rear whiteline arb, what other suspension parts would be worth fitting alongside these & my spax coilovers?
Brakes, i have some 288mm vectra gsi brakes, what are peoples opinions on disc / pad combo's?
Engine, it will probs just be a standard xe for now, think i may need to get a powercap, or xev pipe? is there a how to guide to fitting a xe into a corsa?
Exhaust, is there a specially manufactured manifold / system for this application?
Body will be resprayed in flame red, but bumpers, arches, mirrors & wheels will be done met black. May add some louves to the bonnet, got some smoked headlights aswell.
Is there anything else i have missed that would be worthwhile?

well if you want a good engine I have a complete c20xe here. £150. including gearbox etc...

Whats the history with the engine?
And is it engine, loom, ecu, starter, alt, box and so on?
last serviced?

it was in a corsa that I owned. I dont have any paperwork with the engine but I know its good. I fitted it into a mates corsa that I bought back off him and I decided to break it for spares. All I know is that it came from a 2cav gsi and when removed the car had 85k on the clocks. before it was fitted to the corsa we replaced the cambelt, clutch and sump gasket.
went fine for about 1k miles before it was removed, was a good strong engine. started first time every time with no knocks or smoke etc... comes complete exept the loom. I have the ecu, power steering pump, starter, alternator, AFM, all sensors, coolant bottle, all hoses, rad, and a stainless 4 branch manifold.
