dont think the silencer can be taken out of the peco backboxes! i wanted it doin on mine but was told they dont come out! all u can do mate, is remove the center silencer near the cat, and have a straight through pipe put in place, that will make it a bit louder but could give a crappy raspy sound so i would say just leave it as it is mate, in time they do get a bit depper in sound!

what car is it on lmao. if you're trying to get a V8 noise out a 1.0 you're wasting your time.
i found with a magnex 5x3" on my 1.4 sport it sounded awesome, nice and deep and not too loud to be annoying.
got it on my 1.6 now and it doesn't sound that good cos i think my cats knackered (makes a tinny sound, a bit like a leak apart from it aint leaking anywhere... and really screams at about 4k rpm under plenty of load)

you can take the baffles out of the backbox, take a grinder to it

make 3 cuts in the backbox
2 x width ways
1 x length way
This makes a flap which allows you to pull the baffles through. Once all baffles are removed cut through the silencer pipe
Then its a case of bending the flap back down and welding it back up
