What's the difference between Visual Basic & the Visual Basic that's part of Microsoft Word, or Excell?

Is it possible to compile an .exe program using the version of VB that's included in Excell?

the vb in excel or word im pretty sure wont give you the option to compile your code to an executable

In word and excel its just vb script is it not?

Nope in word in excel its VBA, same as VB but offers functions that are specific to word or excel etc.

Same syntax etc....
