First to come out of the new mould and so isn't perfect, but I still think it looks awesome!

This is different to a couple of others I have sold as now the washer jets have been smoothed out.

It seems to have a slight ripple across the bonnet, its not really noticeable when looking at the bonnet unless you get to wing level and look at it, couple of light patches in the laquer, and it has a few marks along the edges.

But taking that all into account, if it was sanded down and re-laquered it might come out fine, or if someone just wants a bad boy bonnet then grab this one and spray it and you won't be running the risk of the fillar cracking behind.

Here are a couple of pics:

And more pics can be found here:

http://www.twistedstyling.co.uk/Hosting/Corsabonnet/

The bonnet does not come with a catch and so requires bonnet bins, the hinges for the rear have been drilled, but havent been fitted up against a corsa yet, so might need to get the olde self tapper out!!

When the mould is sorted and the bonnets are coming out 100% I will be selling these bonnets for about £295.

But as this one has the imperfections selling this one for £200, which I believe is a bargain!

If anyone is interested them drop me a U2U, post here or drop me an email @ cliogtt@gmail.com

I am based in Telford, I can meet someone close by, but would prefer it to be collected, as I haven't got a delivery service sorted yet.

Sorry for the long thread!!

Marcus

The gap has been left to have a catch fitted, just didn't see the point with this one as it isn't 100% on the outside, but a standard catch could quite easily be fitted

Won't really take any offers on it, will stick it on ebay and chance my luck if nobody want's it off here, just thought I would give it a chance on here first

Its hard to notice the ripple unless your at wing level, the marks are like slightly larger than pin pricks on the edge, just where it has come out of the mould. Its hard to get the marks to show up, but I will see if my proper camera will pick them out later on as the other pics are taken with my camera phone.

If I was putting it on my car, then I would sand the laquer back, fill the slight imperfections and touch them up with black paint and then re-laquer it, might then sort the slight ripple aswell, when I say ripple its not like a wave or anything lol, its just a slight dip.

But will get some pics of the bonnet tonight as its in my garage at the moment.

looks like bottom half (with center supports cut out) of original corsa bonnet with carbon ontop, easy to bolt onto hinges and put on the bonnet catch
How much would delivery be? got anything sorted yet?

The white stuff is just dusty type stuff, will wipe it off before it gets sent anywhere, just been soooooo busy recently!

Delivery would be about £20 if someone really wants it and doesn't want to collect it then I can sort that out, just need loads of bubble wrap and brown paper and I can send it via parcel force

Its carbon upper and fibreglass lower and exactly how Gav describes it

Sure it could be done with an angle grinder, just not sure what finish it would leave on the edges.

You need pins on it otherwise you will end up with a smashed windscreen.

You can use a standard corsa bonnet catch mate, its got the gap cut out ready for it, just need to take it off another bonnet and then fit it to this one
