Some of you turbo owners may know something so thought i would try

Basically when the turbo spools up there is a very high pitch noise which stays the same noise but the pitch gets higher as the boost increase's, hold's boost fine, no smoke, no rattle, knocks, taps etc...

Im baffled

Could be the bearing inside the turbo on its way out.

small hole in a boost hose? . has it always done it? might just be how it is . most turbo cars you can hear the turbo when you spool it up

right had a look around to see if i can see any leaks, turned car back on and now its doing this...

Going really low into vacuum, used to stop and settle at 30 straight away...

what you really need to do is load the car up on a rolling road and find out where the noise is comming from. and why etc....

has it got a gay dump valve on??? if so it could have a knackered diaghram and be leaking from there.
