Well Finnish player of the Year anyway

This is his 6th time in 8 years, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and now 2006. He could also favourite to win the Journalists player of the year for the 7th time aswell which is named in Dec.

He has been an amazing buy, cost about £4m in 1999 and has just been a rock in our defence ever since.

He's the premiership away from having the clean sweep of Major Trophies with Liverpool, great player imo.

Who came second and third? Only Hyypia's fellow International centre back plays for Luton, and he is also a rock.
