Sorry i've just read your other thread,

TBH You won't get much for it if the car is not running right, so how annoyed would you be if in a month after you sell it for practically nothing you see a new member on here with your car saying i sorted it, it was this..........!!!!!!!! That would make me mad!!! I sold my mate a car that had a knackered engine and my bro wouldn't rebuild it again as he had already done it three times, he spent a bit of money and it was all sorted, I absolutely loved that car and i was so pissed off cos i sold it to him for fuck all!!!!!! Don't sell. Take it to an autoelectricians or something!!!

a car with faults de-values it loads to be honest. if its "just" a power drain, then people would question why it has't been fixed, if you get what i mean. It can't be "just" a power drain if its pissing you off that much you want to sell.

the MFD is an idea. I had a car brought to me with an mfd that lit up constanty for some reason, also had a problem with the battery going flat.

fixed the mfd problem (dodgy plug on the back) and the charging problem went away......
