Im just wondering how a car handles with lowered spring but with standard dampers?
I obviously know it wont be as good without the shorter dampers but how will the overall ride feel?
Also are these a decent price to pay? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GMAX-Lowering-springs-Vauxhall-Corsa-GSI-93-00-40mm_W0QQitemZ110055289628QQihZ001QQcategoryZ40192QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Have you ever driven a shopping trolley..............thats how bad it will be.
The ride will be rough and bumpy, gmax are pants springs aswell also that price is a ripp off.
You can pick up second hand springs for about £30 if you want springs.
I would strongly recommend you getting a whole kit if you lower it.

Hmm dont sound too promising then lol
Iv just found a full g-max kit on ebay un-opened and new for £166 delivered
Or
I could have a used g-max set for £37 with £25 postage, well thats the price its goin at the mo, but it lowers by 60mm. What does a corsa look like once lowered by 60mm? I dont want to make it look too excessive.

The G-Max kit is absolute tosh. Not worth spending the money on IMO. The ride is very bouncy and crashy. The build quality is crap.
I saved for a bit longer and went Spax.
Koni, Spax or Bilstein all the way.

When i had the corsa i got some replacement springs for the apex kit, brand new and i picked them up. All costing me a grand total of £20 inc petrol. If you shop around you can get a good deal second hand.

ive got gmax full kit lowered by 40mm! they seem to be pretty good in my opinion, the overall ride and handling seems good, however iv not had spax or any others so not sure what they are like compared to gmax! put it this way though, they are good and are better than having it standard! get full kit though mate!

obviously they are stiffer and the ride is more hard if you get me meaning that you feel every small bump in the road lol but the handling is a lot better! deffinately go 40mm for best handling and id advise you to get the full kit too!
