This question has probably been asked 1000 times so I apologise now if it has!!
The wife`s corsa sport 1.4 16v (96 N) ECU light is on and her speedo isn`t working which I think could be the speedo mech in the gearbox? (I have checked the fuses). Also car idles irratically, which I think is the EGR valve(probably needs cleaning) or idle control valve?
Where is the EGR valve & idle control valve?

if the speedo sender isn't working, the car will drive badly. (cutting out at junctions etc)
that could infact be the cause of all the problems.
it's easy enough to change

Is it a case of screwing off the speedo cable fitting on top of the gearbox?

Does anyone think it could be something else? How much are new speedo senders?
