I have had moisture in my boot (Corsa B post-97) since I bought it and never really worried. However since the weather has been shit more is getting in. It is like condensation etc where the spare wheel sits which is obviously getting into the carpet. Also, when I open the boot there is water on the inside of the rubber seals  Also, my rear window is nearly always steamed up in the morning even if the rest of the car isn't.
Is this common in Corsa B's or do I have more of a problem with regards to the moisture where the spare wheel sits? Sometimes it is more than just moisture, actual little puddles. The thing I'm worried about is that it has had rear crash damage and hasn't been repaird properly - especially as dad stupidly didn't get an HPI check before he bought it.

check the weatherseals around the boot
also inside the rear quarter trims, the access hatch (to change the bulbs etc) there are drainage tubes, check these are properly situated into the lower portion. other than that i cant see how water is seeping in.
and easy to tell if you've had rear end damage, lift up the carpet around the spare wheel well and look for signs of repair.

i had this in mine, take off the little panel behind you lights (as if you were going to change a bulb) and there is a plastic tube on each side check that there not just flapping about and that there in their littile hole thing, realy hard to explain.

so realy just check that behind your lighhts there arnt 2 plastic tubes flapping about (that was deffo what was causing in in mine i ahd to get a new carpet cause the one i had stunk from the damp!!

the tubes will only be there if the car has a sunroof, otherwise they wont be...
check:
silicon around the rear panels & welds
lights arent leaking
weatherseal around the boothatch
also feel the roof lining below where the aerial is for dampness

well theck the bits the pipes go into then aswell, they can split where they go through the metal & leak there... also a common place to rust if they go
