My car just popped a driveshaft out and i have found out that the car should have been recalled to have a circlip fixed. So i am going to be without a car until it is fixed. Im taking in to the dealership tomorrow, Do you think i should request a courtesy car?
Because if not i will be at a lost for something which suzuki should have notified me about.

TBH, to pop a shaft back in and fit a new circlip, you'll only be waiting about 15 mins at most I reckon.

what he means is under the terms and conditions of suzuki's warranty, they have provided him with an ATP(alternative transport programme) car, which suzuki pay Enterprise £22.99 a day to hire out.

All it takes is undo bottom ball joint, swap circlip, pop shaft back in, ball joint tightened. Doddle, 10 minutes.

You may need an insurance cover note - you sometimes do for BMW. Take them for what you can - they should have notified you and have potentially caused you loads of trouble, time and hassle wise, not necessarily with a majorly broken car.

My brother had a courtesy car this week while his gsi was being repaired. Was a brand new Peugeot 206 1.4 Sport. Lovely wee car for a courtesy car. It only had 6 miles on it when he got it.
