Oblivion, superb game, but needs a decent system to play it properly (ie. with high detail in a high resolution, with effects turned on).

It's an RPG, from an FPS-viewpoint, much like ES3 (Morrowind), but with massive development over the previous one.

There is a storyline to follow, but you don't have any time limit to do so, and there are hundreds of side quests you can venture out on in the meantime...

I'll grab some screenshots when I've had my dinner...

its on xbox 360 so system isnt a problem, screenies would be good

Can't help but think a tiny amount of anti-aliasing would improve those images somewhat.

yes thats taken from a PC which hasnt got it turned on by the looks of it, xbox 360 would be antialiased and in full HD glory

yeah walk around kill things level up, join guilds become higher levels in guilds, get better equipment basically improve your charecter as mch as possible, can follow the main story line or just do hundreds of side quests really good game if your into rpgs.

Unfortunately, in the PC-version, the developers saw fit to make it so that you can EITHER enable HDR or AA, but not both without a bit of a hacky solution which hammers your frame-rate......in fact, this describes the reasons much better than I can.

And yes, Steve, if you're not a fan of turn-based stuff, this will probably suit you a lot more...

i hate rpgs normally but oblivion is the bollocks. only problem is its so big a game with so much to do that you need plenty of time to play it

Oblivion is superb steve, it's not turn based it uses real time fighting

Will take up a lot of your time if you're going to get right into it, the game is huge but you can advance through it as quickly or as slowly as you want (doing side quests etc..)
