go on nova forum, sure they'l be able to help, think u can put 1.4 head and inlet onto those and as Vaux Lad says a c16se cam (from gsi i think or gte)

carb 8v ?
if yes then get a 1.3 sr crank and rods and fit to your pistons , will increase the cc to 1400 , then 1300 inlet with the 2e3 carb , and fit a 1.4 sr cam as it has the highest lift for a carb nova , then fit a gte manifold and system and you should be round about 80 bhp on a 1.2

or just fit a 1.6 16v, much easier, cheaper and better results.

or an MPi 1.4 8v.
82bhp out of the box, far less hassle that buggering about with sr cranks, gte manifolds and crap like that.

Also more tax, more insurance, and more cost to buy the engine.
I agree with Robin, 1.4 8v mpi is a good choice, nice engine, v. cheap tax/insurance.

iv got a few cams, standard nova ones, 1 kent and 1 piper.
got a 1.4sr inlet manifold and carb
gsi manifold/downpipe
