carb 8v ?

if yes then get a 1.3 sr crank and rods and fit to your pistons , will increase the cc to 1400 , then 1300 inlet with the 2e3 carb , and fit a 1.4 sr cam as it has the highest lift for a carb nova , then fit a gte manifold and system and you should be round about 80 bhp on a 1.2

or an MPi 1.4 8v.

82bhp out of the box, far less hassle that buggering about with sr cranks, gte manifolds and crap like that.

Also more tax, more insurance, and more cost to buy the engine.

I agree with Robin, 1.4 8v mpi is a good choice, nice engine, v. cheap tax/insurance.
