Though I'm not convinced yours is actually broken
Have you tried putting everything back together how it was before you started messing around to see if it works then? old gfx card etc?

well its only the graphics card ive changed and thats back in, might take it to a computer shop and see what they say

ok im guessingn its the hdd that causing this problem, i tried a HDD from an old pc,,,,
itscame to a blue windows screen, but said
something about stoped due to a differant hdd which may basically break my pc....
its kinda old and its only 40gb so maybe thats why, but i didnt get all these error messages on start up,,,

yes i will, not really needing a huge one so it wont cost much,
i have 250gbs worth of extrernal
Worth buying a brand new one or will used be better due to the fact its already set up...
and one more question, it it ok to handle ram with your hands?

that hdd will do you fine. Maxtor's a very good.
And yes it's ok to handle RAM with your hands. How else do you propose getting them into your system?
Just hold them around the edges and try not to touch the chips. Not the end of the world if you do though.
