following from the thread started months ago:

last tuesday my gf and i started the work! had only around 6 hours to work.
will try keep you updated as this goes on!

started the first day by stripping the interior (only the drivers seat was left in just incase we need to drive it) and then moved on to removing some stuff from the outside aswell (mainly lights and some chrome bits)

here are some pics for you of the first day:

Have you sourced the compulsary Porsche engine yet?

as said in the older thread, the original 1.2 engine will be left there. the porsche engine was just an idea of the guy from whom my gf bought it.

Continued abit yesterday for an hour... removed the roof lining and cleaned abit! [no pics yet but]

Fit early sloping headlight wings (Porsche headlights if possible) and early tail lights, long bonnet and a Karmann Cabrio or W (or half W) decklid =

could do that but its going back to factory spec. all original '68 stuff even paint and interior and engine! thanks anyway for the idea but!
