Thoughts and opinions?
I have been given a tidy wage increase this year, and was condsidering getting this for the new house. i know nothing at all about this, and ideally would likely sky in the the Lounge and main bedroom.
My parents have Sky+ and its nice, although im not sure about SkyHD.
I have a nice 42" HDTV.
I wouldnt be interested in sports packages, just the normal packages + movies.

It costs about 50 quid a month to get sky hd.
You need the full package to get get sky+ free then another tenner on top for hd.
If you would watch the hd channels its probably worth it.

Sky HD has the features of sky plus, just with hd aswell. It can still record and pause etc., so might as well future proof

Sky HD is fun because you can see all the JPG image noise in the icons on the TV guide. Oh, and the picture is quite nice too
