Drunken, read the comment, as of about a month ago.. Dont "bother" indeed.....
And theres a boiler in that chimley, which massivly effects HDMI cables... So not as "easy as it looks" at all im afraid.
Cabling will be put in the wall when we re-decorate. Im not stripping half a wall just for 2 cables, it can wait till the rooms redone, surround purchased etc, so i can change the lights in the walls, wires in the walls for the speakers etc etc......
I have sense over money......

Not so sure it looks right in the chimney breast, du have anymore pics daimo?
I'd really like one mounted on the wall in my bedroom, but seeing as its only me who lives there it seems abit pointless

Only other one really. I would mount it in the wall, but it'll take a fair bit of work, then there is the heat issue.
Its all lined up right, from where we sit (which is the important part) it sits perfectly. visually it would look better mounted higher up the chimley, but it means you would have to look up slightly, which puts strain on your eyes and neck. So its as low as possible.
That arch and the brickwork below are COVERED in bad taste bears now

what screen size is that Rob? Looks quite big at first glance but then I noticed the black plastic where the speakers must be.

The accoustic solutions ones are on special offer in Argos atm, £50 - £150 off them, thinking of getting this one -

No matter what technology he's talking about that won't affect you buying that tv in the slightest ally.

This is my mums home cinema setup...
I wasnt around when the builders did it and my mum doesn't know that much about it, so the builders have ended up putting the tv up too high and my mum never noticed. im gonna have to move the bracket down for her and reposition the centre speaker aboce the tv, but you get the idea. It's a 42" Hitatchi HD plasma
Monitor Audio Radius speaker package and stands (around £1400)
Pioneer VSX-AX4ASi amp/receiver, its even got a special connector for my ipod so i can plug it into the amp and then the display comes up on the tv, and i can use the amp remote to scroll through the tracks on there and play them on the speakers
alond with a shitty VCR which I dont think has been used in years , the Kiss DP-600 HD Media player (for playing videos and music off the pc upstiars over wireless network) and sky HD.
Couple of pics of the new kitchen too
