Was looking for my paint code the other day and realised that the metal plate under the bonnet with the vin number etc on it was missing!?? 
There is a sticker in the drivers door with the same info on it and a plate screwed to the dash with the vin number on it.
My corsa is 2000 and was wondering if they have changed were this plate is located on newer corsa's??
My car's due MOT soon so i will need to get onto the Vauxhall dealer where the car came from if it is missing!!
If any1 could help, that would be great!! Thanks!

it's on the left under the tax disk, in the black bit at the bottom

not all models have the vin plate on the crash panel as far as i know. I think its mainly the newer ones that dont.
When I went to view my car I bought I saw that it didnt have a plate on the crash panel, and was alarmed by it. I phoned and had a HPI check on it and asked them about the plate not being on the front crash panel, they said not all models have it there, the plate is on the dash behind the windscreen under the tax disc.

I know it's an old thread but I just had a panic on - couldn't find the VIN plate under the bonnet to work out the paint code.
With regard to the bit I quoted, is that on the drivers side on the centre bit where the seat belt is housed?
