I am just in the process of getting a new rear axle for my 1994 1.4 SRI Corsa B, which has drum brakes, and I thought as it needs replacing may aswell stick a rear axle from say a GSI with discs, I rang my garage and they didn't know if I could, so is it possible? Any more work? Will it cost me more basically?!!! Thanks!

gsi axles didnt come with disc brakes. You have to weld a conversion plate to a corsa axle to fit disc brakes from a astra gte or something
