After all the part ex offers of skylines and other crazy hi performance cars finally found someone who wants to part ex a sensible car towards my impreza.
I will be selling this part ex on as need a cash lump for a house deposit.
Here are the details, I am going to have a look on trader and parkers and try and get a rough idea of value, but if anyone can suggest some figures would be appreciated.
renault clio 1.2 expression 3dr 51 plate
58,000 miles
electric mirrors
electric window
sunroof
central locking
switchable passenger airbag
heated rear screen
jvc stereo
standard front and rear speakers
everything working how it should
mot till july 2007
no tax but this could be arranged just run out hence want to change car
problems
central locking needs re-programming
NO SERVICE HISTORY - this concerns me as might make selling on difficult?

From parkers:
Renault Clio (01 on)
1.2 16V Expression 3d 2002/51
Average mileage 40,000 miles
Original Price £7,995
Franchised Dealer £3,835
Independent Dealer £3,590
Private Good £3,050
Private Poor £2,295
Part Exchange £2,675
As this one if above average mileage and no FSH I would say it was worth about £2k.
Hope this helps mate!

The no service history is a bit strange, especially as it has done such high miles. With that in mind and what else you've said I'd say about £3.5k.

Interior is mullered, that has been used and abused big time.

51 is September to December 2001 or January/February 2002 which means it has averages just over 10k miles per year which is what most people look for when buying a car. Yours is obviously below average.

Well average mileage is 10-12k per year so a 5yr old 01 car with average miles would have 50-58k
Average for a 96 would be 120+

i wouldnt touch it if you just want to sell it on, no FSH i wouldnt even bother going to view it!
The interior is awull, the exterior has most likely seen many kerbs hence cheap replacement hub caps...
Looks like a car that hasnt been cared for, so will probably be HARD to sell.
So seems pointless unless you want to run it into the ground.

Personally wouldnt touch that either; would never buy a car for over £1K with at least most of its service history.
Im sure your imprezza will sale soon; its a good spec and good price now. would be tempted myself when i sale the BMW as im doing the same; down costing to save for a house
