They've just said on Sky Sports News from an Ashes official that the urn isn't the trophy and that stays in Australia and a glass trophy is presented at the end.

I always thought the pathetic egg cup would be a crappy thing to win

its a bit more than just an urn/egg cup. there's a lot of history to it, and im sure beating the aussies would be enough?

its like asking, would you play for england in the world cup if they werent awarded the trophy at the end? IMO the star on the shirt in better than the trophy
