ok, need help here anyone please

a sport im interested in, the owner told me the drivers seat stopped sliding now, still tilts back and forwards but doesnt slid in and out...is this easy to fix?

Try moving the seat back and forth if its seized solid then it will probably need rplacing but if there is movement in it then its likely to be a coin or something small

i found a wine gum in mine years ago, stopped the sliders from working - tasted alright aswell once i'd rescued it off the tracks

have a look if the bar you lift to slide the seat back and foward is still cliped in on both sides underneath, mine poped out it just clips back in

Sub frames is the sliding mechanism

they unbolt from both the chassis and the seat - as far as i am aware all corsas use the same subframes

spray some wd40 on it, it might just need a bit of lubrication

each side has like 40 possitions to slid to

if they becomes out of sync it wont slide

might need to move one side a few places for it to become parallel

look underneath and it will become clear

in any case its not a hard job to change a seat/seat base. plenty of sport interiors around.
