Can I arrange for a loan with my bank over the phone and get the money either today or tomorrow. I currenlty have one with the bank that runs out in 5 months, so do not mind extending that.

I doubt it as they have to normally send it to the credit check department.
An extension might be slightly different mind you.

I pop in the bank tomorrow then. just need some spending money for my holiday next week until an invoice is paid at the end of the month.
