windows ME is a FAT32 file system and XP is NTFS, not sure that ME can read NTFS (suspect not)...
Thats what i was told?

just format and re-install....but it normally asks during the windows xp setup

ME can't read NTFS but why does that matter when you are installing XP?

When I put my disc in it says insert a disc into disk drive (Yeh the disc drive is working fine)
