I know but He could have been used, bring on as a sub or used more towards end of season. He'll be back for Carling Cup next year though

Well, Frazier Campbell and Dong Fangzou won't be playing any time soon, neither will Smithy!

Still Rooney, Saha, Ole and Larsson is pretty good!

what a waste. Its not even a good loan deal, he should of gone to another Prem club to get experience in this league.

Ive said it in another thread in the past, but if this guy is as special as everyone makes out why isnt he pushing through for a first team place as he has been with you for a while now hasnt he?

Also....isnt this his 3rd club in a year?!

Ipswich could of done with picking up a goalscorer on loan
Should of stayed in England to get a grip of the game tbh.

since July I believe the rule is, so guessing he has played for you at sometime since then?

Infact just checked and he played 3 friendlies for you preseason, so guessing he was registered to play so makes it 3 clubs this year!

Do friendlies count though? Dong Fangzhou has played pre season friendlies for 3 years yet never played in season.

Im not sure TBH, probably depends on the firendlies as I would of thought you'd have to be a registered player at the club to play in most of them.

I think thats what we are appealing on, as there are loads of players who have gone out on loan 2 or 3 times in a season aswell as playing a few games for their actual team. We only want to loan him at first so no reason why he shouldnt be allowed to play!

He was pretty crap at Newcastle to be fair. And before anyone says we didnt play him - Fergie wouldnt allow him to play in Europe and then his mother or someone died so was way for the best part of a month, so couldnt get a run in the team.

yeah, I had thought that. I wasnt sure if there was a difference between the friendlies they were playing (Amsterdam tournament?) and the friendlies behind closed doors for trials, etc.
