We have to drive girly cars to make up for the fact we produce too much testosterone. Super male men.

I would keep it white, sort out roof and paint interior to match. Re-underseal the car as its less hassle, drop the engine in and drive it!

Its light enough as it is, this weight competition thing has stopped you using it and enjoying it.

I just think its going to be a waste if you do all this "cool" stuff then bin it on its first outing.

Get the car running first then save some weight on doing the fibreglass boot and bonnet.

All who that say the boot doesnt way mutch are wrong compared to a fibre glass one it weighs a ton.

I think I did a post with them on the scales ages ago

It's the glass, the boot really doesn't weigh that much. In comparison the fibreglass boot though, it's heavy. Obviously.

I think make the car completely white, black alloys, bigger lighter brakes as Daimo said, get a very good coilover setup and work the original 1.6 with tb's. With the power the engine could produce and the weight of the car, i think you will be very happy.

Get a pro tech fiberglass wide arch kit, get it sprayed up white. Get a carbon bonnet and boot. Put a seat in it. Work on the engine.

Get the kit, fit and spray white. Get the perspex windows here aswell along with some carbon goodies. Get a carbon bonnet and boot. Totally stripped out inside, flocked dashboard, one seat, stack dash. White speedline turinis. 2.0 8v on carbs. Straight cut gearbox.
