I couldn't get in to my car this morning, I didn't want to pull the door too hard and break the glass so had to spray de icer around the glass. I went to open the back door but couldn't, half way to work it started to unfreeze and open

There was a thread on scoobynet a while back about this. Some guy got around it by putting something on his windows at night, can't remember what it was though

I had the same problem with my Astra Convertible. The windows would slide down slightly so you could open the door but when the glass was frozen they wouldn't slide down so I couldn't get into the car Lots of scrapping later I could get in!
