I have had this once already with some springs, they seemed high to begin with but after a month they settled in fine, all other sets were fine straight away. The manufacturer said its to do with what stage in the manufacture they were and that the last ones off were colder when wound so they would sit slightly higher than others but would settle in after a while.
not sure how that works but it was correct about the last set. give it a month, if they are no different I will replace them for you free of charge and send a courier to collect these ones
