C20LET will cost you more to maintain than the XE lump

New tyres every month with the LET

Basically if money is no issue then build a kick-ass 2.0ltr turbo corsa.....

incorrect, if well looked after and dont drive like a fool then tyre wear would be same as any other motor

ditch i think your assuming the driver of the turbo is a nutter

and as for the rest of the views on unrelieabilty.....pffffttt do some proper research ffs, if u rag a 2litre turbo about and it fucks up, so would any other engined if its being abused
and if your tight on fuel you can drive the car without letting the revs getting high enough for turbo to come in
or alternatively turn the boost way down or off

vw golf v6 4motion
clio 172 sport (2litre)
2litre corsa

vw gold v6 4motion
clio 172 sport (2litre)
2litre turbo corsa

who would win both races???

Race 1 vw golf v6 4motion (top end slightly better than others)

Clio 172 and Corsa 2.0 would be a good fight for 2nd but id put my money on the Corsa

Race 2 2litre turbo corsa (once it got traction)
