ano this topics been broguth up all the time but wondergin pros and cons of them ?
mate has a 2.0 8v one for sale £550 t and t vaux rims lowered smooth boot pas sri l reg and wondering if its worth making an offer on it ?
insurance a killer for a 20 year old with 4yr ncb ?

anybody help

insurance won't be that bad, depends what you think is expensive. 2.0 8v are 130bhp aren't they?? Still be pokey in a corsa.

Anyway Car sounds cheap, Wouldnt expect insurance to be though

A friend of mine had this when an insurence company saw his pass plus as 1yr NCB so 17 he had 1yr and so on

only 20SEH was 130, most 8v lumps will be around 118

my insurance company let me transfer my scooter ncb to my car hence the 4yr ncb

correct, early mk3 cavvy sri's have them as well as the mk2 sri 130's. my point was that those cars are rare as hen's teeth and will most probably be an NE

tbh i think 8v's are ace,i seen a 2.0 8v vs 2.0 16v up pod and it was level

think it was cus the redtop couldnt grip

2.0 seem to go for alot of money though , are they worth the money ? would love one if they were isnurance friendly

my cousin and my mate has a 2.0 16v,really quick once you get grip and loads of torque.but id rather have the 8v tbh.not many people have them and redtops are just becoming the norm

any 2.0 would do me to be fair then I can say that Ive own one , ideally a one in good nick that I could maybe mod a little but as I say they seem to be pricy especially for age of car etc
