time to upgrade as the computer we use at the moment has seen its days
Have around £300 maybe £350 MAX
Computer will be mainly used for storage of cds/dvds and general internet use and burning a few things to disk photoshop ect

Was thinking that but i want to run vista PLUS i can prob get a better spec computer to what dell will be doing at the time?

not for that budget you probably wont.
Youd either have to buy old brand name stuff, or generic parts like Dell do anyway. Plus your not wanting to run anything excessive on it some what Dell provide would be great.

think my sister got that for her shop, paid about £400 for everything new from Dell.
Although you'll need software (other than windows) but that can easily be 'bought'

Dell will be your best bet and it ought to come with an upgrade voucher for Vista.

If you buy it from dell they are shipping with vista now anyway. Dell don't use the best quality parts but if they break dell replace them.

Yes, like the time when I plugged the power plug into my screen and fried the screen's PSU because I hadn't turned the power off at the wall. Clearly my fault but the replaced the screen anyway
