Yes, I have the bug on modding. Just gauging some ideas on lowering, as I don't really know much about it.

Am I right in saying you can lower on the standard shocks by about 40mm?

How much do lowering springs of about 40mm cost?

Are they easy to fit or am I better off getting a garage to do it?

In the passed, how much has lowering 40mm affected peoples insurance?

Thaaannnks!

I went 60mm on standard shocks fine on my nova. Lasted two years when i had the car, and still has them on now with the new owner. I wouldn't buy second hand personally, you dont know what could be wrong with them.

Thats Sam, she's got my old Gsi bumper on it. But its not my old car. It has the same exhaust mine had on too. The only difference is the wheels. Its in very good condition for its age actually!

Yeah, I thought that. Saw the pic in your garage and can't tell the difference.

most 40mm kits i have saw for a corsa hardly lower it at all imo..

just wait and get a budget suspension kit inc shorthened shocks and 60mm lowering springs for around the 200 mark.

have heard gd reports about the spax kit.
