I’ve been using iTunes latterly to download music. However, my computer has taken the knock and needs replacing. So for now I’ve put all my tunes onto my laptop. Says I can authorise each tune 5 times. Anyway you can get around that problem so it is unlimited?
I tend to format a few times a year too

You can re-download music you've bought as much as you want I though. Think there's an IP limit though.

You can have up to 5 different computers 'authorised' to your account. When you get rid of an old computer, use the option to 'de-authorise' in iTunes before you junk it, then it will come off your allowance of 5.
You have the option to burn your tunes to CD in iTunes and then rip them back in normal unprotected MP3 format - then you can copy them about as much as you like.
