Now i know this can vary, depending on your move in date, but do they after ask for money up front, or will they just wait till the end of the month, ie if i move in on the 13th, bills or building society wont want any money till end of the month, is this correct in peoples experience?

My normal mortgage payment = 300
When i moved in the first one was £383, paid on 1st march, got my keys 21st Feb so the £83 was feb 21st - March 1st then £300 for March

Your best bet is to ring the company you have your mortgage with as it will vary. Once you get your keys find out exactly when your ££ will come out of your account

Just to do with the date, you may have say 1 1/2 months payment depending on the date your payment is coming out and the date you move in.
