Hello, This afternoon i cleaned out the throttle body on the x20xev as it was gummed up.
Now it ticks over at a high rpm, 3000 to be exact, anyone know why this is?
Possibly the ECU or something?
What have i disturbed 
Wish id never bothered now

reset your ecu by disconnecting the battery????

This is what i was thinking. But has a power sounder on the car. if i disconnect then it will go off, how do i get round this?

have you been for a good blast up the road, i used to have endless problems with my old corsa, with revs hanging on and it was always the i.s.c.v

did you use new gaskets? Sounds like it could be an airleak!
