He's not done anything this season, sorry yes he has he's scored 3 peno's that he didn't make

Don't get me wrong legend in his time and he'll probs do well in america.

btw I thought this was going to be a post taking the piss about him being in new talks with england (didn't read title properely) , some bluenose in the pub after he got the two peno's on saturdsay was like 'that'll be in now, front of the echo tomorrow it'll say "fowler in new 5 year contract talks with benitez"

the main thing I would keep him round for is a kind of coaching role, with the kids and our current forwards.

But he still wants to play, so no doubt that will only happen in the future.

He's scored goals wherever he's went, great finisher! I'd move to America at that stage in my career though good money, better standard of living and basking in sunshine 365 days a year

From what i've seen, poor.

There's investment being ploughed into it just now though and 'soccer' is the most played sport in America for schoolkids, something i found very surprising. If they harness that they'll end up with a superb league and a superb national side

LA Galaxy want Gravesen as well, they can have him he earns 40k+ yet lacks general positional sense and is being outplayed just now by a 19 year old we bought for a song!

Players only going out there for the money and being used as mugs to promote the game out there IMO

TBH I think being used to promote the game is a good thing, its giving back to the game and trying to get new people interested.

And if the US do get it right, Id hate to see how good their team is in 20 years with the number of people over there and the amount they invest in finding the best players

He went to promote the game in a country where it was unpopular and made a good attempt at it. I'm also pretty sure he didn't make a kings ransom otherwise he wouldn't be in adverts for hard on tablets just now
