i did the paper clip test on my car i found the code out n its (crank sensor) no signal does that mean i need a new one? my car keeps splutterin an judderin wud this be all to do wit the crank sensor?

no signal means the car wouldnt start. I assume you didnt have the engine running during the test, if so then its normal to get this code.

dave...the car will start without a crank sensor connected....and even without the bottom pully and crank sensor connected
