Whats the best method for rubbing down calipers before painting?

Im thinking wire brush or drill with wire brush attachment and possibly a sander

Whats everyone else used and found best?

Wire brush is fine.

Wear a dust mask though.

and use proper caliper paint

i just paid my local powder coaters to shot blast mine for a 5er bargain i thought!

Block up any holes that lead to internals, last thing you want is grit inside them

Wire brush, give a wipe over with white spirit the use Hammerite Smooth.

Mine have being fine and I did them a couple of years ago now.
