I've had it for a while now. The router's actually quite good; it's a Netgear DG834GT. Took a couple of weeks from ordering to activation but that's because the system Sky have in place to order it isn't quite as straight forward. It's just like normal ADSL though, they send you the router and you wait for the line to get activated for it. I'm on the Max package, and it's nice and fast.

Mine's the "upto 16meg" package but due to the distance from my exchange I get about 8meg download and 750k upload.
I could downgrade to the 8meg package which costs less, but the one I'm on only costs £10 and it's unlimited.

Im on it, well im supposed to be. They fucked up my install, line is active but i have no internet. Didnt set up any of the stuff that they were supposed to. Oh joy, another few hours on hold to be told to unplug it all and do it again, when its their bloody wiring that doesnt work.

I use Sky Broadband here, quite good for £10 a month!
http://www.skyuser.co.uk probably best place to get advice/info on it.

I've now cancelled my Tiscali and arranged for my sky to be done this morning. Cheers for the replies.
