ive got a black car and when i come to polish it after washing it leaves horrible smear marks that wont come off unless i use auto glym glass cleaner. ive tried super resin polish and turtle wax original and both leave smear marks. it doesnt matter how long i leave the polish or how hard/soft i rub it off. any ideas of whats going on?
cheers

Change your cloth to a softer one.

I had this. Then worked out I need to turn the cloth more often... that solved it!

Too much polish.
Tey using a damp cloth to put it on. this leaves a thinner layer of polish.

Wash you polishing cloths after you have used them, or use disposable polishing rags instead... I sometimes use a bit of Quick Detailer when polishing the car too to prevent greasy smears
