your capacity is only 60,830, I doubt it will add an extra 20,000!!

Depends if they declare previous expansions too!!

When United announced 76212 last year I'm pretty sure they included an expansion that was done previously.

Main stand is tiny in comparison to the rest of the stadium which is the only remaining part of the old stadium, Fergus wanted that knocked down as well but was met with resistance from the nostalgic fans. It wasnt quite 20k if im being honest it was more like 17k

Confirmed the plans are under review

Should be interesting to see what happens with regards to this in the next few weeks as it says it shouldnt delay any of the construction.

as in its not a full bowl?

TBH it helps, as means you can easily epand one stand without effecting others too much. The only problem with the current design was that it has a one piece type roof, so means there is no option to expand in the future which IMO is a big problem.

Even if it means we adjust the design for now so it allows expansion in the future to 80k+ Id be happy.

Yeah, I'm thinking you might not be able to get the capacity up by doing this, and surely if you were to expand later you would'nt really be able to use that space as if it was like a bowl.

yeah, its certainly easier with a bowl as so much extra space for seats in the corners.

Im not sure what they are going to do TBH!!
