or he signs for another Prem team and his line 'I only want to play for Utd' comes up week after week when he plays badly.

No if he doesn't sign for utd, it will be I only ever wanted to sign for Liverpool/newcastle/tottenham/everton, i've supported them since I was young *yawn*

Don't get me wrong, I'd really like him to sign as I think he'd be good for the team. Plus its always good to know theres more than just the 4 regulars that you'd be happy having in the midfield. I just think its pointless going on about it until it happens.
